I work at the intersection of nuclear engineering, energy systems, and business. My career blends deep technical expertise with entrepreneurial drive — building companies, filing patents, and delivering in some of the most demanding regulated environments in the world.
As a Design Engineer at a UK nuclear licensed site, I support frontline engineering and technical assurance for operational facilities, from nuclear materials management to remediation of ageing assets. In parallel, I run businesses in the UK and Greece — Instacar Ltd in the UK used-car market and G.I. Security S.A. in the Greek security products sector.
I hold five patents, have published in peer-reviewed journals, and represented Greece at the World Robot Olympiad on three continents. My academic credentials span four degrees including a PhD, and my research focuses on hydrogen technologies and nuclear energy as enablers of the low-carbon transition.

Frontline engineering support and technical assurance for operational nuclear facilities. Contributing to BEPPS encapsulation and storage programmes, HALES high-level liquor management, and remediation of ageing assets. Design assurance, configuration management, and readiness reviews under the Plant Delivery and Design Framework.
Technical performance, reliability, and compliance of multiple engineered systems: CCTV, fire detection, public address and evacuation, access control, electrical distribution, UPS and standby power, environmental monitoring, earthing, and lightning protection.
HV and LV network assurance, testing, and commissioning. Insulation resistance, AC/DC pressure and VLF testing, primary and secondary current injection. Switchgear functional testing and design support using Amtech, DIALux, and AutoCAD.
Plant control and instrumentation systems in a regulated nuclear environment. Walkdowns, red-line drawings, plant modification proposals, asset condition assessments, and DCS tune changes. Two innovation-centre projects delivered targeted cost and headcount savings.
Safety coordination, fire management plan implementation, and community engagement at a large student residence. Stakeholder coordination and structured communication within a regulated operational setting.
MV and LV distribution network design, MV/LV substation configuration, fault recovery, metering installation, SAP asset management, and renewable energy grid integration across the national electricity network.
Switch cabinet design for automation systems, GPRS telemetry for pumping stations, energy management studies, and lighting feasibility assessments for industrial and commercial applications.
Traffic light system design and installation. Full engineering lifecycle from feasibility assessment to on-site commissioning, in collaboration with Eng. Tairidis Anastasios.
